Every time, I tell myself 'this is the one I'm gonna keep for myself'.

This time, I even went all out on the restoration and took it as close to factory condition as I could get without destroying the marks. Those are brand new scales, Austin's great replica washers, and a brand new wedge (indium/bismuth because I've been too lazy to order any pewter, I've got 4 pounds of this indium/bismuth stuff and it's nicely non-toxic).

It's a joy to shave with. Just the right side of heavy, incredibly solid. Sharp, like a razor should be.

As always happens, stuff came up in auction that I wanted a whole lot more and I need to pay for it. So adios gigantic For Barber's Use.
