Up for auction is something I made a LONG time ago and finally decided to finish and let go. It's from a point in time that can only be described as 'WTF was I thinking' This is something I made when I was still starting out, all those years ago.

It is an 8/8 blade in SC145 steel which is extremely pure steel with 1.45% carbon. The blade has a hamon. You can see it in the 2nd picture. Note that the hamon picture was before setting a bevel. There is a 1/4" emerald set in both shoulders. The holes will fit 1/16 pin stock so you could use brass or nickel silver. Now for the pivot hole. That was an accident. For some reason I drilled the pivot hole with the same drill for partially drilling the holes for the emeralds. You could use this razor kamisori style, or you could put in a brass or G10 insert 1/4" and drill a new pivot hole.

The pivot hole is why I've had this sitting on my bench for i don't know how many years. But someone may as well use it, it's a nice enough blade and if you can make scales, this could be a cheap way to own an 8/8 razor.
Let's start the auction at 100 USD, shipping included. The auction runs to the 4th of June, 9PM CST.

EDIT: If needed I can supply some material for scales at cost.
