have had several, the 120 is Gottas model number, have never seen a SQ. point in a 120.
The etch is not centered between the toe and the stabilizers, would think the blade has been altered,JMO
Based on the pic showing both razors, it looks like both razors were cut down in length. The blades are too short for the scales.
Based on the pic from the link that BobH provided, it looks like your square point razor was cut down in length. The distance from the toe to the gold etching is short on your razor.
There is an old post of these Gotta 120 razors here. The post has pics of Gottas with round points.
It is quite simple. Examining a number of typical Solingen blades I see a length of 2 3/4 to 3" from heel to point. I do have a Kissing Cranes that is 3 1/4" from heel to point so there are variations. What is the length from heel to point of the razor or razors in question ?
How about a picture of the blades closed in the scales, one from the side and another showing the distance from the point to the wedge in the end of the scales ? I'm not trying to defend anyone, just to draw a more accurate conclusion based on evidence.
