I'd use the heck of that razor, if you care fro it properly it should look like the day you received it even after years of use.
Yes, use it, and use it well, whether you display it or not.
I use all my razors or at least try to at a regular basis.
Display them? Sure, just look around here, projects going on everywhere, razors, stones, guns, copper pots, pipes, jewellery, bikes... it's all on displey!
You see that a lot in the world of wine as well. You have wine drinkers and wine collectors. The collectors never drink. They hunt down the rarest and most prized wines and simply hold them hostage. The drinkers may have a collection but its a working collection in that none of it is there simply for show. Whatever makes you happy. But me, I'm a drinker. I say shave with it.
I've got some I've never used but 98% get used. I don't want to be a custodian for stuff until I croak and someone else gets it to use.
I do both. IMO straights are tools, tools are meant to be used, but that doesn't mean they can't be appreciated for their looks as well.
Takes all kinds. Ferdinand Porsche built his cars to be driven (hard); I drive my '87 Carrera rain or shine. My pipes are smoked. My razors values to me are in their utility, not their collectability.
Nevertheless I will drool at the "Porsche By Design" exhibit coming to the Raleigh Art Museaum this Fall; I love looking at exotic and pristine briars at pipe shows and I greatly admire the vintage refurbs and originals seen in SRP member collections. But none of these are in my house. :D

That was just after I put it up - there's a few more razors plus my brush collection in there now. It hangs just outside my shower room so as to keep moisture away but keep everything handy for use.
That's pretty and elegant, Rob! Very covetable razors you have there. Just missing one stand ;)
