I go back in and rinse my face and clean the brush/bowl, and dry off, apply A/S. Finally go out into the hall and get the razor, wipe with tissue and strop 20 round trips. Sometimes I've forgot and left the razor with soap residue that didn't come off under the tap, and just walked away leaving it for an hour, a day ........
I've used Semichrome, Flitz, Wenol among other metal polishes. Applied with a Q-tip and rubbed with a paper towel. I've had varied results. Sometimes I have gotten water/lather spots out and sometimes there is a gray shadowy spot or two that doesn't respond to the polish. In my case I live with the results whatever they are. Maybe there are some members who've found a better way to deal with the stains and we will all learn a thing or two. :gl:
