Default Vintage NOS Japanese Towa 6/8

This is one i picked up a few days ago, well today I gave her a light honing on the higher grade stones, took a few pic's before giving her the run out tommrow. she's a vintage NOS Japanese Towa made and ground in Japan, a very well made good looking and rather sexy looking blade if you can describe a razor that way, now for the pic's.

That is sexy! I think the black scales and tang covers (?) look really sharp! That is a beautiful razor sir!

Have recently received the same TOWA model, also NOS. Was thinking of touching it up when I receive my set of Naniwas later this year but, on second thought, didn't feel like waiting. So I've deiced to give the factory edge a try after a good 70+ strokes over a pasted paddle, followed by 60 passes on the Kanayama linen, then 60 passes on the suede and finally 60 passes on the Cordovan strop. Looking forward to the result tomorrow morning as I have high expectations of this blade (having Jamie's comments of his own Towa in the back of my mind as well as considering where this blade appears to have been made / ground: H.Diamond & Co. I always wanted a straight from H. Diamond since seeing ZethLent's in this thread a few years back.
Here are some quick and dirty pics of my Towa - and yes, I agree with Jamie, this is one sexy looking razor (as is my other Japanese, I must admit, but don't tell my wife):

Thanks and yes, I know Japanese Natural stones would be the right diet but the Naniwas will have to do, I need to learn honing on something nd maybe, eventually, graduate to Nats, be it Japanese or German or Belgium or whichever... ;-)
