Rotation Addition
To begin with, I think I should start off by saying I have the RAD. I'm curious to read others responses to this question:
If you acquire a new razor, does it jump to the front of the rotation or wait its turn through the rest of your rotation?
The reason I ask is because I have done both. I have experienced the joy of instant gratification and also the building of anticipation waiting to use the coveted razor that came in the mail over a week ago. I may have to do more personal research to come to a conclusion and this may take time...

I have finally reduced my RAD to rad. Only looking at, but not buying, for now. I acquired a number of oldies and my Mentor honed two for immediate use. Waiting for the rest of them to put in rotation. Have a big bunch more for him to work on. I jump any new one that is shave ready to the front of the line. I may be old but I still have the face-pressed-against-the-penny candy-case attitude. I want it now. I want to use it now and have the "shave of my life". There are days where I feel my beard should grow fast and heavy quickly so I can get in two shaves a day to try out some new razor.

New razors get shave tested as soon as they are honed. Though, as I type that, I cannot think of the last time I got a new razor... And I never really had a fixed rotation either...

Just thought I wouls chime in- I just got my second razor in the mail yesterday and haven't shaved with it yet. I just shaved Wed evening, I will shave with it tonight. Its been a tough 24 hrs waiting to play with my new toy. Its a roundpoint, and Im anticipating a great shave with it. If it performs well, I will put my first razor away for awhile and just shave with the new one.

I admire your restraint. I swear, that with advancing years I want more and more instant gratification (oh God! am I in my second childhood?).
