Default Mr. Chandler does it again

I like Torreys, and the half hollow ones best of all. This was an interesting blade in pretty good condition with busted scales, and I thought it deserved something better than an old scales transplant so I sent it over to Joe.

Ivo's Radium razor looked so good to me that I asked Joe to notch the tip of this one in a similar fashion, and I ended up with what I think will be a heirloom razor. Take a look at the detailing he does in the wedge and spacer pin. It's nice to have one of these that looks as good as they shave.

Holy cow--that's gorgeous. I have a Sheffield razor that would enjoy a similar treatment... Maybe next paycheck...

    Nice work, Joe.

Wish I'd have taken the pix indoors...so you wouldn't get the reflection off the trees. Glad you liked it.

Varasite web, actually. And it's Wanamaker Special, not Wanker Special.

CA. Not sure how many layers, but probably around 10-11.
