I just cleaned it using the baking soda method and its looking good! I ordered some MAAS polish to finish it off. Unfortunately there are 2 cracks on the top of the tube/handle. Any tips on what to do for those (you can see the cracks in the pics)? Also, the combs on one side are bent in but it seems quite uniform. Is that how it was made from the factory or are those bends from something else?

The cracks in the tubes on the handles from that period are pretty common. It's actually pretty hard to find one without cracks. The teeth should not be bent, probably dropped at some point. You can try fitting something like the barrel of a pen over the bent teeth and carefully straightening them.
