Shhh Don't tell the wife I've been reading her Emails :D New TI for Christmas!
Well I've been using a SR since August. So I thought I would ask for a new one for Christmas. I already knew what I wanted, And sent her to the page earlier! Well we got a conformation email earlier.... I now have to wait till Christmas to test my new TI 7/8 basic black from TI UK. We also have to wait for stock to come back in.
This will be my first new, Decent brand razor.
The ones I have atm are a 5/8 astra I got cheap on ebay that I suspect is from eastern europe. It's a reasonable age not new by any means. And a 7/8 Artemis Pakistani razor that is actually pretty good. Hence why I went for the 7/7 TI rather than the 11/16 or the 5/8 "Le Grelot" form that I was originally looking at
5 weeks till I get to test it! Lets just hope TI UK get stock in for me.

I agree! It can lead to trouble. But - since you already did it, I stumbled across my wife's stash of presents for me once when I was much younger. Saw something I REALLY wanted to try out before Christmas so I used a razor blade, carefully sliced it open, and then.... well, it's probably not a good idea. Nah, forget about it...

You know, occasionally wives/girlfriends will sign up on SRP to get gift ideas for the man in their life - here's hoping she didn't see this thread....
