I just won my first kamisori on auction. i know 0 about them. i thought it didnt look to shabby for what i paid around 50 bucks. (but what do i know?) the seller stated that something is missing on the blade edge and that the razor is worn out? + the makers mark is gone. when i look at the razor well pictures of it. i dont see something missing or to much wear on the steel? and i see stamps but i have no clue what it is. so if someone knows how to read it and tell me more about what shape it seems to be in (i dont know what type of wear to look for in a kamisori) then please let me know.

this is what the seller stated when the razor was sold.

This Japanese-style straight razor, or kamisori, is probably around 50 years old. The maker's mark on the blade has disappeared.A professional Japanese barber uses this razor. This razor is in basically good condition. This is a beautiful Item. But this razor is worn out by years of use.A part of edge of a blade is missing. Overall, this razor seems to be usable but will surely require some cleaning.I applied to the edge of Razor the oil used for KATANA, in order to prevent rust. The skin of rattan is wound around the grip of a razor.
