    Default 'The Unicorn'

    Hi Guys,

Is anyone able to provide any info on this razor? It is made by Wade Wingfield and Rowbotham and measures 13/16. I understand this brand is
quite old but i havent been able to find any info on this specific razor.

Very nice blade in nice scales too! I'm quite jealous of that unique etching, I've only seen a few of these and have wanted one since I saw it.

Martin103 is probably the man you'll want to get a reply from, but here are some company details from Goins' book:

"WADE, WINGFIELD AND ROWBOTHAM. c.1825-1852. This firm became Wingfield & Rowbotham in 1852." Possible inference that "Wade" departed in 1852, although the name might have been used after that. The firm's address at that time was "82 Tenter Street, Sheffield."

Does your blade have any further detail, such as an address stamp?
