1) Blond Rams Horn - I have a few razors (scaled by Mr Neil Miller) in this material, and it is beautiful
2) Black horn - I like this for my old British razors.
3) Ebony - a good, reliable scale material.
All my razors that have been re-scaled by Mr Miller have lead wedges - a classic and good looking material
