Right now, I have 3.

I have 15 razors, all vintage. Maybe one day I'll buy a brand new one but it's hard to beat an average of $20 per razor and the idea that most of the ones I have are in the 80-125 year old range. When people ask me why I shave with a straight I simply ask them how many Gillette Mach 5's will be around in 100 years...
Still at 17, but i just bought another rock and have two barber hones and a vintage brush in the mail.
All my razors are vintage, quite possibly always will be.
Bought the last 2 from a guy who knows of a guy in the big city next door who reportedly has or had 3,000.

A few years ago and after passing the 400 mark I simply stopped counting. I have 7 in what I might call my core rotation in a nice TI box next to my sink and probably another 15 or so in a "standby rotation" that live in a drawer under the sink.
Then there's the pile that have been cleaned and/or restored and are awaiting honing (conditions are anywhere from needing a bevel set to just a final edge polish).
Behind that are the ones that are restored and shave ready but not part of my current infatuation - and while any of them could get sold on a whim, they normally sit and wait until my fancy turns to them again, even if that takes 6 years.
Then there are the blades that need some minor restoration or cleaning and come to my attention and then go into the core rotation in a matter of hours.
Then there are the ones that need serious time and effort to resurrect and that pile gets picked over about once a month when I feel like taking on a fresh project.
And somewhere in the mix are those that have scales or a blade that I may use on some other project or that I'm hoarding until I get 6 or 7 of them to make a set (like the W&B Framebacks).
And of course there's the "floating" pile of 20-30 blades that I've totally forgotten I own ad it's like Christmas morning every time I find one of those and exclaim "Wow! Didn't know I had one of these!"...my favorites...
It goes without saying that I have to be careful when new blades arrive (someone clearly has my eBay login data and wins auctions a few times a week on my behalf). When a new one comes in I have to carefully consider what pile/box/container/drawer it goes into lest it goes unnoticed for anywhere from a few months to a few years.
So no, I don't have a problem - no RAD here - no sir, it's under control totally. ...or would be if only I could acquire and set up wooden cigar boxes fast enough to keep up with those mystery eBay purchases that seem to arrive every few days. I tell ya, one day I'm going to finally settle down with a core rotation of about 20 and flood the market with all the rest - or maybe I'll just keep collecting them like some crazed hoarder until my house is packed to the rafters with blades - and someday my grandkids find the hoard and go nuts trying to figure out what to do with them all.
But I digress... What was the question?

Well it's +1 to whatever number I have already.... LOL :p
STUPID E-Bay.....:gaah:
Gah, make that three straight razors and a sorry looking Gold Dollar. One of the aforementioned claymore doppelganger, W&B razors, appeared on ebay and is now on its way to me.
Okay, I'll stop at 3.
