Looking good. I hope you can get a good edge on it. The horizontal stabiliser might be too close to the edge, which could result in a less than optimal edge. I had this happen once - it still shaves fine (not brilliantly, but fine) though.The stabilisers at the heel might get in the way, although I guess if they do, you'll hone out the issue while setting the bevel.
Also, check the honing angle. If it is too extreme (i.e. 20° or over), the spine might need some grinding on a course stone.
But it seems like it will work out in the end, above are all only potential issues. Good job so far and good luck getting it there all the way.
