That Celebrated Extra Hollow is one sweet blade, and that one will clean up really nice. I scored one not long ago, looked like yours. This is after a cleaning, honing, and some new scales.

Both of those look like they will clean up great. I think just some polishing compound on the bicycle razor should do the trick and you won't lose any etching. Good luck!

AS a somewhat serious, sometimes competitive cyclist, I'd dearly love to run across a blade like that.
It'd be great if it could be made to shave, but I could make it into a display piece otherwise. Dang, who knew?
All you brethren of the blade please remember me in your travels and collecting! I have some trade fodder too.
thanks for sharing.
(hope you don't mind i borrowed your pic to enlist my pals to help me find similar.)Last edited by WadePatton; 02-23-2014 at 04:02 PM.
