Default Need Help Identifying a "French" Razor

I bought this straight more than a year ago and have lost the paperwork on it. The seller told me it was French and maybe even told me the manufacturer, but I've lost the information.

The logo on the tang is an LF with a swirl over the top of the LF that could be a C...or not. It looks similar to the Landers, Frary & Clark logo, but not quite. Also, the LFC samples in the Wiki all have the name fully stamped on the tang. After that is a deeply stamped 3, space and 9. The back side of the tang is blank.

Does any know the manufacturer or history of this razor?

I have run across that stamp before, however, I cannot remember who it was. For some reason I am thinking I remember what you think is an L is actually an R. I would not bet very much money on that though... I have been know to have cases of cerebral flatulence.

Hopefully someone will come along who will be able inform us both.

You're right. It could be an P broken by the F. The photo actually shows all there is. You can click on it and see it larger on photobucket. The back is blank. Thanks for giving a name to check out.
