Blish Mize & Silliman?
A friend of mine has a razor that belonged to her great aunt's husband. It's in a Karbono box, but apparently that's not what's in the box. As she described it: "The blade says Blish Mize &Silliman. On the razor itself it says "Our Imperial Extra Hollow Ground - Fully Warranted." " I assume she means that the tang says Blish Mize &Silliman, and that the other stuff is on the hollow-ground side of the blade. I have yet to see the blade, but I've asked her to take photos.
Has anybody ever heard of this brand? Is it any good? Is it collectible?

Noam,
You are talking about a company with a strong past and a bright future: https://www.blishmize.com/about-us-2...bright-future/ yep, still in business. Like many of businesses like this they put their name on a variety of products, apparently straights being one of them. Or maybe not. They sold axle grease, horse shoes and firearms in the 1800's. And they are still here!
How many companies can say that Noam?Last edited by WW243; 04-04-2014 at 09:16 PM.

I have a fantastic Blish, Mize, & Silliman Barber hone in my den. Purchased at a knife show in Florida years ago...just used it the other day.
