Thanked: 2Here's a great tip on finding antique razor gold
I was browsing the threads earlier and read the post about antique shops having overpriced junk and I decided to post my most successful way of finding great old razors for cheap. First off Facebook is your friend! The local classifieds groups for your area is amazing for getting responses about antique razors! I usually post a want add in all the groups I have joined once a week. I bought a very old wade and butcher for 10 bucks last week and could have gotten it for 5 but I really like the lady who sold it to me so I offered 10. I'm not saying every reply is a great one but it's excellent for scales and parts plus it's free! So the next time you want to buy a few old razors to restore try it out you might be surprised.
