Like I thought. A ton of wear. The middle ones will make good knives. The end ones I wouldn't bother with either tho they may shave..

I'm pretty sure they can still hold an edge, it's just that the overall life of the razor is greatly reduced.

Japanese steel always takes a good edge. It becomes a matter of the geometry , how easy it is to hone & shave with. We don't do valuations but one could say these are greatly devalued.
