Disposable Straight Razor for Barber School

Greetings all:

I am pretty new regarding straight razors and only own a Genco and a KB Extra Sius Brothers straight razor forged in Germany. I have yet to attempt a straight shave as I bought both razors off of ebay and haven't had the opportunity to sharpen them yet.

Anyways, my mother is going to barber school in Las Cruces New Mexico and is in need of a disposable straight razor to complete her classes with. The razor needs to be disposable for hygienic reasons.

Could anyone recommend a good disposable razor for this purpose. Her budget is under $50.00. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Almost every beauty supply store sells some type of shavette. There are a number available for under $30, and she will also have to buy the disposable blades. Try Sally Beauty Supply on Hickory Dr., they sell this one for under eight bucks.

Thanks for the suggestion Walt. She had been by the place on Hickory Drive a while back, but she said they were taking the New Mexico state boards at that time and they were all out.

However, I did go ahead and order the one you suggested from Sally Beauty Supply Online and will have it shipped to her directly.
