Mike Waterhouse custom 15/16

Well after much eager awaited anticipation the razor finally arrived from the extremely talented custom UK knife maker Mike Waterhouse a custom in O1 steel quarter hollow grind 15/16 with Ebony scales and bone wedge, well first lets take a look at the razor and there's much to see in this beautiful piece of craftsmanship from Mike Waterhouse, from the lovely sweeping curved tang through to the lovely Monkey tail it really is something to see believe me I like the blacked out section just under the tang Mike nice little touch, the Ebony scales are flawless down to the perfect double stacked washers and peening plus the neat even little bevel, I would like to thank Mike for letting me try the razor out for the first time, I knew the razor was going to arrive today so my early morning shave had to be put back to wait for it's arrival, well after stropping the razor which felt very comfortable and smooth I took the razor for it's first run out and after a two pass shave the razor did not disappoint Mike you have put a super edge on the razor and a smooth sweet shave was easily achievable, I'll give the razor another shave Sunday and post back to you next week.
