Nah, I have a registered patent.
Don't fear the underside of the bathroom windowsill, MrMoo! You won't feel a thing! Literally! ;)
I put this in another thread but it definitely applies here, she bit me bad yesterday and now is residing in my shop for some muting

Please understand, guys, it does not take much. Don't be rounding off the point on a hone. All is needed is to simply dull the spike a bit. An unseen thing.
All my razors are square points and I have no problems with any of them, but I once owned a small Max Otte 4/8 spike point with an extra hollow grind and you really needed to be very focused whenever you put that razor on your face.

Yeah, I have a spike point Improved Eagle, one of my best shavers, and it nicks me on every shave!
I like square point razors .. They force me to stay alert!
When I ordered my modern Revisor, an 024, they were out of stock at the time, and were beginning a new run. When the time came, Herr Kronenburg sent me a note asking how I would like the point finished. I requested it be left dead square, that was how it was delivered, and that is how it remains to this day. It's a great shaver..
Since I'm not as young as I used to be, I have some "loose skin" under my jaw line ... I suppose it could be called a "double chin," but I prefer "loose skin!" :o Couple this with the fact that a misspent youth cause me to fracture and dislocate both elbows and one shoulder, not to mention one knee, and my skin stretching abilities are less than optimal.
Sooooo, from time to time, if my mind tends to wander, as it is wont to do, that dead sharp spike with catch a piece of "loose skin," with predictable results.
There you have it ... If there is a biter in the kennel, it is this Revisor, but, I asked for it, and I will never mute it!!
