No real "biters" to speak of (though I did have a Wacker 1/4 hollow Spanish Point that just seemed to genuinely dislike me), but I have noticed if I do get bitten, it's usually right at the end of my shave, if I start to get complacent.
A year later - go figure. The Schaefer Rapid Shave has matured and given up biting. It has learned a lot. :D
No biter in the bathroom...but this b&tch is locked up in the razor chest!

After reading through the thread, it seems the most troublesome razor is an Imp 133...I don't have a 133 but my 132 is an almost sure thing.
I have all the motivation I need to pull out the DD Special/1 this week. The Schaefer is quite large and, in the past, was an almost guaranted cut once or twice/week. The DD Special/1, a much smaller blade, used to nip sometimes, too. As well as the Schaefer and the DD Dwarf have done recently it is possible th DDS/1 has also learned its' lesson.
I sm convinced that, if you put the mean ones in the dark and ignore them for a year or so, they come back out contrite and compassionate. I feel like The Razor Whisperer. It is up to us to make our pointed razors calm and submissive.
Im good with my American points as long as I'm concentrated. Now my round tip vintage Bismark likes to let me know it's there! As soon as I'm a half second away. .. oops red!
