I am sitting in my Operations Tent here in the Middle East cleaning my 6/8 J.A. Henckels Twin Works Straight Razor. A guy that works with me asks to look at it. I hand it to him and all of a sudden this gleam comes into his eye and he flips it open (or tries too):nono: like you would see someone do in a movie. :cen It goes flying out of his hand and hits the tent floor. I really believe time stood still right then. He started to pick it up and I beat him to it. The front edge of the blade broke off at the toe. The best way to describe the damage is a piece broke off of the toe at a 45 degree angle. The piece measures about 1/4 x 1/4 inch. I looked really hard for this razor and bought it from a forum member. I have only shaved with it a few times. It was a really great shaver. So, anyway, I went thru the usual emotions of anger, pain, and loss. Now, I am in mourning for a great shaving tool. Awwww.......oh well. I will chalk it up to experience. The scales are in excellent shape. I wish I could take pictures and show you guys. I may borrow a camera and show the damage done. I am wondering if it may be salvageable. Anyway, I just had to vent. Thanks,
Bryan
