I was very happy to snag this one off E-bay, (my apologies to any members that might have been bidding) This one was not getting past me.
It is a Clauss in fantastic shape, this is how it came BTW I have not done anything to it except some Flitz on a rag.... There are 2 small spots that are going to need a little more attention, and it will be ready to hone up...
What makes this one so special is that I bought it as a gift for a friend... He has shown some interest in wanting to try a straight.... I was going to loan him one to try, but when I saw this one I knew he would love it!!! My friend/neighbor is a Vietnam War Veteran who served this country in the USMC...He deserves this more than anyone I can think of, This is a Clauss, U.S.M.C 6/8 Round Point razor with the original box, I ordered him some shave soap from Mama Bear and I hope to have this honed up and ready to give to him by Sunday when we go skeet shooting...
So to him, Semper Fi, and all our other Vets thank you for your service!!!!
