    Hi,

    I wanted to share a little adventure that happened to me recently. Moderator please move this thread if it s not in the right place...

    I acquired some time ago a cvh number 4 that was in bad shape. The scale was good for the bin and the blade needed a good scrub. Speaking with Neill about this he told me that restoration was a pricey operation and not worth it considering the value of the blade hence i decided to do the job myself for the fun of it.

    After i cleanned the blade and replaced the scale i sent it to get honed by Neil knowig how highly regarded he is. (Not to mention i can't hone). Because i am paranoid i sent the parcel by registered mail.

    After a while i checked and confirned on royal mail website that the parcel got delivered and signed for. Hearing nothing from Neil, i contacted him. He recon that he never received it and that the signature was not his. He turned his house inside out to find it just in case.

    Neil kindly offered to refund the honing fee and compensate me for my lose and so he did. This is the kind of gentleman Neil is. I wish more businesses would go to him to learn what a good customer service is.

    The story could have ended here but it doesn t. 1 month later (yesterday) Guess what i found in mail ?

    My cvh, freshly honed by neil with a word of apologies!!!! Apparently the razor turned up in his mail box weeks later.


    That s the kind of gentleman this man is! Of course i am looking to refund him and pay for the honing job. I can't blame him for royal mail deficiencies.

    Neil if you read that please invoice me on paypal for the honing, i already refunded you the compensation for the not-so-lost-razor


    He will definitly get my custom again
