Worn spine, frown, width of blade etc but, if you want to hone your restoration skills and not worry
about further damage you might do in the process, why not learn on this blade ?
Pull it apart (un-pinning) clean and polish the scales, sand and polish the blade,possible re-pin
(you could save the scales for a future project) and have some fun !!

More than likely. If we get a reply it will surprise me. I wish this person would not give up so easily unless they weren't really into the straight razor thing. I't's too bad! We tried to help! The person might be at work but me thinks the same thing but we might get a surprise later. Who knows. I like trying to help a person out.
You're a good man. If you look at post counts, joined today, you might see a little lady from MO who has been shopping around at garage sales, thrift stores, flea markets to find things to peddle online. Uncle Bob (or someone) sez "Mercy! Some of them is worth a PILE"! Soooo, she gets on the 'peuter and googles straight razors. Since we have some nice friendly folks here, naturally she joins up and asks away! As we nicely tell her it is junk, BOOM, she is gone, never to be seen again. Sometimes we have some fun with them. Depends upon their personality. Sometimes they get mad. It happens.Quote:
