Hello! Im 21 and brand new to this subculture. I recently realized that I want to go to barber school so what better way to get a head start than to buy my first straight razor and start wet shaving! I recently came upon a craigslist find and it looks as though the stamp has been worn down to almost nonexistence, but I believe it may be a Joseph Elliot Best Silver Steel, but I could be wrong. I was going to impulse buy it but thought that I would get the opinions of some seasoned gentlemen before I pull the trigger. Its only 20$, so I wont be bummed if its not a great find, but it definitely fits my aesthetic. I appreciate any and all comments and any advice for a beginner on equipments and novice items.
