Thread: Ready to take the plunge

I have been wanting to start for a while. I have hones (though not sure how to use them yet). I also have a few different razors. I would like help choosing 2 and then also would like someone to get them shave ready for me. Eventually will want to do this myself but want to start out as smooth as possible. I have 4 razors and will send two out and practice with and probably ruin the other ones.

The first I will most likely use and is from my home town. JM schmid and sons. Westminster 106 . Seems in nice condition.

Second is ERN walk getmany. Grand prize 1904 St. Louis world fair I assume. Blade marked wade and butcher Sheffield england
Also marked Invincible on the blade.

third is me reppenhagen NY. Marked barbers special solingen Germany and other side is artraco.

last is keusius brothers lb extra
marked hunter razor 630 and has a dog head for logo. Other side marked Germany

Thjnk I like the first and last but open to opinions..

If all are junk please tell me and I will start over..
