Thread: New Ralf Aust 7/8 Spanish Point - Horn Scales!

Thanks to SRD for getting this to me so quickly! I really was expecting it to take a bit longer to get here. I am extremely excited to get this razor, my first 7/8 (I am a bit nervous to have a hatchet like this against my face). The razor is absolutely beautiful and as you can see in the scales...the natural texture below the surface is almost 3 dimensional. It is extraordinarily pretty in person and very well made.

Nice razor! Love my Aust. And as a recent convert to 7/8 blades, trust me when I tell you you're probably not going to cut your head off. Your nose, maybe. But not your whole head.

Very nice. Let us know how it shaves (as if we don't already know). I've been lusting after that same razor myself. The horn scales are magnificent.

Fortunately I have a bit of facial hair under the nose so I can spare that part of my face! One thing I really like is the good bit of heft the blade has.

Two awesome things together, an Aust and streaked horn. Congratulations.

Beautiful. Aust makes a great shaver, and the streaked horn is lovely. I've also got one of his in "streaked" horn, but there's about two small dark gray areas on otherwise pure black. Your scales are quite nice.
