Cool blade!
While there are many blades posted that I'd love to call my Holy Grail, so far my Ali's Blade Chopper 65 Stainless (suminagashi 65 layers with Super Gold 2 powder steel core) and Mozambic Ebony scales is mine:
Wow, that's cool!
As someone said a Holy Grail razor is a personal thing. I just bought one of mine, it is a Bengall razor, what pulled me in is that it has "Imported by Francis Albert & Co. Baltimore" etched on the blade. Also it is a big 6/8ths with a Barbers Notch, and the picture he shows it looks like a half hollow. E-Bay No. 222214629414, if someone would like to post a picture of it for me. I tried but can't seem to figure it out. The other Grail is a Henckels 50, but it is out of my price range.
Thought my holy grail days were done with. I made an offer and it was accepted. So, here she is...

Edit: 17/16 Wade and Butcher the celebrated extra hollow ground for barbers use. The scales are not original, but I have an extra set of FBU scales waiting for a blade such as this one. More pics after the weekend.
I reckon you could spend forever chasing the grail but you probably already own the perfect razor for you. (Assuming you have a couple)
I have too many razors. And too many expensive razors.
The beast pictured above is 17/16 at the widest part. The French tip is more prominent in person.
The holy grail of Razors (or anything else for that matter) is the one you dont have yet.
It's all about the chase, cause thats where the fun is, or as so eloquently put by Bruce Springsteen, and made famous by Manfred Mann:
"Mama always told me not to look into the eye's of the sun
But mama, that's where the fun is"
It's not the destination, it's the journey....:o
