Sweet dreams are made of this.
Now that's a score...

Beautiful razor. So far, a 8/8 is the largest razor I've handled. I was fortunate to recently get a couple of W&B's in great condition as well. They haven't been honed yet, but I love the look of them and feel of them. It is nice having a bigger blade in your hand. I've heard the weight of the blade pretty much shaves for you.
Did you polish the scales? If so, what did you use?
I have done nothing to this razor. These pictures are as found. The condition is amazing. I believe this is the way it left the factory. Sans the rust on the spine of course.
When I make horn scales I finish with 600,1200 grit paper and then polish on a spiral stitched cotton wheel loaded with Jantz Supplies Black Magic compound and end with Caswell Blue Rouge. It depends on the effect I'm looking for but if I really want to make them sparkle that is what I use.
Fantastic find, pretty amazing that it survived all these years in that condition, Enjoy!
