I don't know too much about restoring razors but those look like they would clean up very nicely. Great shape to those razors and beautiful scales. I think they will do you fine.

Wish i could help you with who Wells is. The only thing I can guess at is that Wells is an English razor maker or retailer. I hope Neil Miller sees this thread, pretty sure he would know.

That is a beautiful matched pair of razors with what i take to be ivory scales. Be very gentle with those scales as ivory does not take well to rough handling. Those should clean up well and would be well worth having a pro restorer do the job. Congrats on a lovely find.

    Could be...

Wells, Charles (, Forks, table steels &c.).
Address: Bard Street, Park; h. 16 Stepney Street, Park, in 1905.

Wells, S & Sons (, table knife manufr.).
Address: Trafalgar works, house 58 Wellington street, in 1841.
Recorded in: Henry & Thos. Rodgers Sheff & Roth Directory - 1841.

    I'm sure there's more...

Roberto, que es un hermoso par de cuchillas de afeitar. Estoy de acuerdo con el supuesto de 1825-1845. Las maquinillas de afeitar probablemente fueron fabricados en Sheffield y marcados con el nombre del vendedor.

    Salud,
