I received this blade in a lot of three very nice razors. It was the spine and thumb notch that drew my eye to this one in particular. I cannot read the tang fully, but it appears to be a rectangle with (top to bottom) ...NNEY ...IELD ...ANTED

I translate this to ...NNEY SHEFFIELD WARRANTED

Based on the lack of any mention of England, I am under the impression that the blade is pre-1891. I am not sure if it was rescaled, because the scales are just regular black plastic that remind me of my Aust 5/8 round.

Do any of you have an idea what Sheffield cutler ended with "NNEY"? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
