Gotta tell someone! 3 custom Kamis ordered!!!

Yes, I have 3 Custom Kamisoris ordered and I'm super excited for all 3 to come. All 3 are at different stages at the moment, and all 3 are from different makers. I have really come to like some of the modern style, and modern takes on old style kamis these days and I needed to have......... a few.


First one, After talking to Jon from Alberta ( Thisisclog ) a few weeks ago, he said that the Kamisori he is making me is almost complete. Will I be the first person on the planet with a Canadian made Kamisori!!??? This thought goes through my head and I get all giddy inside. Jon is a newer razor maker and from some of his pics, he's doing lovely work. I think some of you have seen his work on here and in person. This will also be my first, brand new razor which has me excited as well.

Number 2 is from Morgan J Miller (Silverloaf) I told him I wanted a Western ground, smiling, 2" long edge Kamisori and I believe he has it rough cut but still has other blades to finish before he moves on with it. I have always admired his razors and If you haven't seen his work, you should do a quick search and check his stuff out. He does some huge Sheffield style customs that are very sexyllent! Can't wait to see what he has for me!

Number 3 will be by a maker that has been making some very high end razors, and some of you have those razors. Cedric Christ
(Ali's blade.) When I first saw one of his blades, which I believe was from one of Richards (Evnpar), SOTD posts I was awestruck with how beautiful the blade was. After seeing more of his work, I had to have one. So today I just got an email from Cedric, saying he will be making me a hand welded Damascus Kamisori in 2-3 months time. AAAAHHHHHH! Can't wait!
