Thread: PRC Siren 6/8" Round in Ivory

PRC Razors seem to be getting lots of love these days so, I figured I share mine as well.

This is their "entry level" model so to speak, currently priced at $120.00 USD. The Siren is a 6/8" round point, 1/4" ground blade in a limited selection of scales. I chose the imitation Ivory (some sort of polymer). I added an engraving on the spine but other than that, this is their bone stock, entry level razor.



It came nicely packaged in a carboard box, with the felt sleve and little leather key chain bearing their logo.
For the price, mighty nice!

I purchased the Siren, because I happen to prefer a 6/8" Round point, and it didn't hurt that is was cheaper than the other models.
It took 3 months to arrive, but well worth the wait.
I now have 3 shaves in with the razor, and I'm quite happy with it's performance. It came beautifully honed and it performs excellent.
Some folks like the look, other don't. I fall into the first catagory. It isn't my prettiest razor, but I like it and it shaves every bit as good or better than any other razor I currently own. The scales are a little chunky for me. If I could change anything it would be to have a wedge instead of a block.

So in summary: Great shaver for a great price and worth the wait.
I will probably order a companion in black soon.
