Thread: New Razor, Solingen or no?

So i ordered this razor for around 30.00 on the bay. I was interested as in the pics it look like it had never had a bevel set and i was curious, received it, and it couldnt of chipped its way through butter, honed it up from norton to naniwa 12k and shaved. Was pretty fantastic. Has that extra vocal steel on it as does my other german razor, but as i haven't heard of it was curious if its a real deal solingen vintage, and if anyone has an idea of the time of production?



And a little question for the sake of conversation, im pretty happy with my razors right now, but i want something that people know and stand by the brand (boker,dovo,nos henckels or filarmonica) what would you guys go for? I want it professionally honed as i lost my benchmark razor due to normal use of it. any ideas accepted and respected.
