Has anyone heard of a Schumate's Vanadium and if so is it a good blade

Have not used one myself, but blade looks OK. Should hone up. Scales look sound.

My Shumates are good steel and hold an edge well! You can see some discolorations at the spots that the Celluloid Torti scales are against the blade. They may clean up!

Shumates are a very good razor and are much under-rated. One of the sharpest razors I ever honed was a Shumate Ben Hur.
