Default List of Wade & Butcher tang stamps?

Is there a list of all the W&B tang stamps anywhere? I'm looking at a razor with a stamp of what looks to be an ax head? and is stamped "W&B. S" and I don't know if it's faked, as I can't find any info on this stamp by searching for those letters here or in Google. Every pic I see has the whole company name spelled out and Sheffield with/without England depending on date of manufacture.

Never seen a fake straight in my years of buying and selling.

Is that a Wade&Butcher stamp? That's my real question. If it is, I'm hopefully going to be a very happy fellow soon!

You can see various wade&butcher razors in the razor database in the library and the razor club on the forum. I don't think yours with a w&b.s stamp was made by wade&butcher.

OK, I see what you mean. A pic would help greatly.

Here's a pic. There are no other markings anywhere.

There are fakes or near-fakes out there, but most of them were contemporary with the manufacture of the originals. John Barber complains about it and recommends that buyers verify with his trademarks to get the quality product.

Hurts my neck looking at it sideways! It is hard to see the mark but I can barely make it out. I've never heard of that maker before. It doesn't come up in my Sheffield directory nor my Straight Razor Collecting or my Standard Guide to Razor's books. Not even my Goins Encyclopedia has it listed. If it hones & shaves well, I would suppose it's okay.
