    Default Vintage question?

I found this for sale in my area. Is it worth $125 C or should I keep looking? It's a 70 1/2 J.A Henkel with what looks like a spike/ Spanish point. I would be taking a closer look in person before buying but from the pics it looks like mint condition.Name: ad_1439127215117.jpg

Sorry but appraisals are not allowed. It is worth what you are willing to pay. You can get a decent vintage for much less or much more all in great shape. If you have deep pockets go for it. If not look for something else. Final decision is yours.

This is where your personal appraisal abilities come into play. You will have to look at it and judge the condition of it and then haggle to get what you feel is a fair price if you feel the asking price is to high. There are books available that you can get to help you develop these skills. "Standard Guide To Razors" is one but there are many more out there.

It depends on how much you want it. Should be a decent razor & looks to be in good shape, and if it's NOS or restored, that would depict the price for me as well. See if the seller will let you shave with it!

Go to ebay and look at completed auctions for a rough idea on what others have paid for the same razor in similar condition.

We do not do appraisal, for all the reasons mentioned. Value really is in the eye of the buyer.

Personally, No. I have bought NOS razors for less. Condition is everything, shop around.
