I'm wondering why there is a lack of quarter hollow grind razors for sale.
I've always purchased quarter hollows and I have a near wedge custom.
Recently I bought a full hollow T.I, basically because I liked the spine work, "Flower Pattern"
It has surprised me because the edges I get on it a really, really nice, although getting used to holding a thinner tang is a bit awkward.
I do have larger sized hands.
Also honing it requires 2 hands because weight of the blade is so light.
I just wish more of the bigger manufacturers would make 1/4 hollows.
It's full hollow city out there and I don't know why, surely a quarter hollows are easier to make.
I know T.I do some half hollows. My bro has one, a 5/8ths 1/2 grind and he swears by it but I don't do 5/8ths.
Any thoughts? :)
