Thread: How do you store/display your razors?

Share some pictures of the "prized" side of your bathroom vanity. Let's see how you store/display your precious shavers. I keep mine tucked into this little wooden parchment holder, so they're protected from splashing water on my vanity. It's also a plus that it looks nice. I'm missing a few razors from this picture, such as a restored T. Hessenbruch double bear with honey horn scales, and a Touraine Noonan & Sons coming in the mail

Please feel free to correct me on any dates, I'm just going off of my own knowledge and research!

Most of my razors have some level of restoration done on them, as these are my shavers and I'd like for them to continue to do so.

I just stand mine up in a pewter mug in the order that I use them.

The box is a hinged shadow box that I picked up at a hobby home store. The stainless steel Dovo on the bottom right is my every day shaver. The one on the bottom left is supposed to be my backup and/or travel razor. The top one was my Great Grandfather's razor with his case displayed below it. Have only used that one three times. A great shaver but I am afraid to drop it or something.

Richard, I wish that you weren't so far away. I'd love to come visit your beautiful display.

Being a bachelor with no need for fine china (I'm a paper plate kinda guy, yeah I know I'm a low life Har!) I store and display my razors in the china cabinet.
This is an old photo, I now have blades left and right of the main area shown.

For information:
The rare earth magnets from the auction houses are great! A razor will hang from the tang easily and with enough strength that you can swing it in small circles from the magnet.
Get some at least 4mm in diameter and 4mm or more in length. Should be able to get 50 or more for less than $10 shipped.
They can hang razors from metal shelf supports, many mirror lamp housings, and can be glued into holes in a board to space them correctly.
A way to think outside, or in, the box!
