New Phone, better camera More Pictures

As part of my 60th B day yesterday my wonderful wife Barb ordered me a new "I" phone 6s. It is supposed to have a really good camera & be easy to use so I hope to have many more pictures on here of my razors & shaving equipment. The phone should be at the store on Friday or Saturday so I hope to post some pictures soon!

Yea, I looked at them, but just could not pull the trigger for a better camera, I think I will buy a good macro lens for the Nikon. It is a nice phone though, enjoy.

Awesome Slawman! My wife has the 6 and loves it. I am in the enemy camp and love the Samsung Galaxy myself......even though right now I have a Sony Experia. Back to a Galaxy when my contract is up . Enjoy that phone and take some pictures of razors with it!

Congratulations on reaching the big 6 oh..... dangit, I was only 40 yesterday, wasn't I?!?!? <grin>

My turn soon... early December to be specific. Not looking forward to it, and I can gar-ron-tee my Mrs. won't be buying me a phone, never mind anything shaving related. She might hand me a honey-do list though....<sigh>.

Happy Birthday for yesterday Slawman. I have the 5S and love it. It takes fantastic pictures but I hear the camera on the 6 is even better. There's only one problem with my camera... me! Wish I was better with it so I could take better photos.

+1 Agree 100%! Was surfing on a 1st gen iPad with iOS 5 and just got a new(er) iPad with the new iOS 9 and learning all the intricacies of a new OS is a fun but a PIA!

That's great Slawman. I have the iPhone 6s, but the first one that came out last year. It has an 8 mp camera on it but if I remember right, the newer one has a 12 mp camera on it which will give much clearer, crisper pics. I would love to have the new one but I'm content with what I have. I also have my Canon 8 mp which is already 7 years old but still works pretty good most of the time. I was able to get the 6 because I first got it & sold my old iPhone 4s on eBay bringing me a few dollars shy so I was able to afford it. I always keep my iPhones looking new which is why I get pretty good money for them when I sell them. I'm waiting on some money so should I get it soon, I might be able to get the better iPhone if my carrier shows I'm due for an upgrade & if so, I save a lot of money, at least 50% rather than buying one retail. It's amazing what I see iPhones selling for at retail prices on eBay & people are paying it! I'll just have to see. Like I said, I'm content with what I have for now though.

I found the iPhone 6 camera to be especially handy, easy-to-navigate and offer a pretty substantial range of photo-correction features. It works well in low light situations so flash photography isn't necessary, and touch-screen light adjustment is a nice feature.
