Default How is this for an awesome razor?

Hey folks... I just found this little doozy on kickstarter. Sounds like a fantastic idea (although certainly would not replace the joy of wet shaving). I wonder how well the razor will work?

Interesting, and thus begins, 30 years from now, on a future shaving board, posts of, "Someone scored an NOS MACH 5 Swivel Head!!!".....and talk of the days when men shaved like men.

If that makes it to production, will be one to try for sure, wonder what Gillette will call it when they buy that startup? They've exceeded their funding goal by 10 X.

    Thanks for posting.

I know.... I know..... A "light saber" blade like a straight razor!

Hold the scales in hand.... press a button..... (light saber noise).....

    Start shaving.....lol
Is it over there or over yonder?

Never liked golf myself, always found it quite boring...now if you were to hide a few snipers around the course, now, that would be exciting.....

I picture laser razor place (LRP) with videos, instead of pictures..

I am in the same boat, golf is a perfectly good walk ruined. Lazer golf might be fun, I haven't considered the mechanics of the game just that you get to walk around and have lazers.

It will be interesting to see if this product takes off, and how it works. From briefly reading the page I think the biggest issue would be life expectancy and cost of replacement for the head/ Fibre thingy.

Some of the comments were a bit unreal like the guy who asked if he could get free cases with his razors. If they were offering free cases they would have said so, and asking after you have pledged removes your leverage somewhat.

I wonder if the offset neck will make any difference to the shave and whether it was a functional design feature or just a style points thing.

I saw this today as well. What would I do with all my brushes... Open a shrine to commemorate when you get a good shave you placed a well honed piece of steel to your throat!!

I have to assume though that my bathroom, instead of smelling like fresh soap and manly aftershave, will smell of burnt hair.
