When I first saw this Boker sitting in the display case at an antique store, I could see the name Boker on the tang, as well as a very nice sway back profile along the length of the spine. I believe I spoke out loud to myself and said, " what the.....?" as my interest peeked on the razor. When I first opened the razor I initially thought that it had been over honed on the heel, but then came to the realization that the hone wear was even across the length of the spine, and the heel was actually still in perfect condition. I noticed that the depth of the blade at the toe was much bigger than at the heel and also had a double belly hollow grind which was also even across the length of the blade. When I got the blade home I decided this unique blade needed some fancy schmanzy scales, and I had just the pair. A set that Tom had given me that worked out to be perfect for the this blade. I didn't do too much sanding or polishing on this blade, call me lazy, I got rid of the rust and tarnish.
For all I know there may be numerous Bokers like this one out there, but I haven't seen them. Anyone seen a Boker like this before??
