Unboxing a new (NOS) Inoue Tosuke
thought i'd share some photos. I recently acquired a folding Kamsori - I believe it was called Sennhai on the 'bay... I thought it was a western hollow grind when I bid on it - the photos were a bit iffy. I think I was hoping for a nice hollow ground Japanese razor - something like a Pelican. What I got was a folding Kamisori - which I honed and am super pleased with. As usual, I have gone in hard and have bought another 2. An Azuma, which looks good, and an Inoue Tosuke. The latter arrived today - three days from Japan. I am super pleased. the razor feels like its got a good bevel on it already, but I'll take a look under the microscope tonight.
Here are some photos.

Great shavers I've owned and honed many western style folding Kamisori razors, a good tip for all Kamisori razors including traditional Kamisoris tape the Omote side because that's where the majority of your strokes will be on the more pronounced bevel side, reason for taping the Omote is they will very quickly ware down and greatly alter the bevel size and the razors geometry.
