I agree and disagree. Many razors don't sit flat on the hones. It's a fact of life, and learning to hone them is both challenging and rewarding. If I got rid of every razor I own that doesn't sit flat on the hones, I'd be out for about half my collection lol.
Imagine spending $450 on a new TI and having worse problems than your boker. I agree there are QC problems that will only be addressed by raising flags. Now raising a flag to a vendor doesn't necessarily mean boker will ever hear about it, so I say keep on trying to get in touch with them direct.
