Can't comment on specifics as I don't know about em except +1 they are pretty
It would have been nice to list the steel used for the blade.
They look pretty but at the price point more information would not hurt.
Do you have pics also?
They certainly are not giving them away. However they look like they have put a lot of effort into production, and the boxes look nice too, all complete with the logo. If someone is interested they should email them and ask all the question. They don't look like cheap RSO so probably worth asking.
I put in a question about the steel etc. on Ebay.
Have seen these for a awhile now when searching 7/8 + 8/8" blades
I think we have a member from Latvia who comes through with customs from time to time?
Yes & I've seen couple of customs coming out of Hungary also. There's this guy & another one

Here's another one of his that sold. He's got positive feedback so far with one or two saying they will be back. I have just noticed this guy in the last few months & I think there is another maker also in Hungary.

New message from: rigarazor (210Turquoise Star)
Hello,
Thank you for writing. I used Bohler-Uddeholm R100 carbon steel for this blade.
Please by free to ask any other question about the razor.
Best Regards.
I am interested, how much is to been seen on feedback. Although rigarazor does have 100% feedback on the last 12 months. How many of those are experienced users though.... they are also selling a couple "jnats" I put that in quotes because I did not check the adds nor the experience to know if they look genuine enough to justify the approx $700 price tag...
The stones look good, and they are large stones. The okudo renge suita looks particularly tasty - it's approx. 210mm x 83mm x 32mm and weighs 1378g. That's bigger than a Norton 4/8.
So anyone bought one of these things yet? They look pretty but I'm not shelling out for a unknown.
Wondering about this guy myself, his reviews look great, like to hear from someone who's shaved with one on here. Maybe you guys chip in and buy me one and I'll review it...
I bought the one with the tapered blade on the auction today as well. I will report.
Sweet!!!! You got this one?

I love it. I like the taper, the beveled spine, scales.....................
I hope it shaves as good as it looks.
Yup, that's the one. For $103 I couldn't pass it up, I'll let you know how it shaves.
My pic does it no justice.
I was going to ask what the result was, but it's only been about 2 weeks. Coming from Latvia, economy mail, it might take a bit longer to arrive. Looking forward to seeing what the verdict is on these razors.
My razor arrived yesterday and I put right to work, and work it did! The delivery was fast and I was able to track it the whole way,I am waiting on one from Hungary and I have been unable to track it so I give Riga points for their shipping. I should qualify this by saying that I have been shaving with straights for only a few month so my experience is limited but, having said that, I have accumulated about a dozen razors some of which have been honed by respected members here. The Rigarazor is sharp as hell and it gave me a great shave using Baume Be. shaving cream. The razor is as long as my 14 Filarmonica with wicked sharp points both at the nose and the heel which is useful for working around my mustache/goatee. I also like the thumb notch. I'm not in love with the plain black Micarta scales but they do everything they are supposed to do. Overall the look is sleek and the shave is great. The fellow that made it is named Sergejs Illarionovs, I plan to write him and hope to learn more about his operation. His for sale right now listings on Ebay are expensive but the ones he put up for auction did not net him a whole lot of money which makes me curious about his marketing plan. Anyway,I am happy.
This may shed some light on the steel used if, indeed, R100 is the same as 52100 - "52100 A ball-bearing steel, and as such is only used by forgers. It is similar to 5160 (though it has around 1% carbon vs. 5160 ~.60%), but holds an edge better. It is less tough than 5160 however. It is used often for hunting knives and other knives where the user is willing to trade off a little of 5160's toughness for better edge holding."
So it holds a better edge than 5160...sharper razor? (maybe a newb question, but I don't mind since I AM a newb) With proper stropping and the occasional touch up with Chromium Ox, these seem to be a quality razor. It is a little difficult to tell in the pictures, but what kind of grind did yours come with? They look very similar across most of his razors... Thanks for the review!!
Mine showed up in the mail today. Came fast and well packaged. It's seem to be very well honed (trimmed the tree tops). Here are some pics of the razor.
Ok so I had my shave with this new blade. I'M NOT IMPRESSED. I shaved the right side of my face, wow it was smooth. Did under my jaw and I'm feeling a bit of tugging. Doing the left side of my face and we are missing patches. Cut myself (it's been a long time since that happened). F-This! Pulled out my Tally-ho and finished the job.
Yeah it popped tree tops but couldn't deal with a week of growth.
Bad edges happen. I will contact seller and see if he stands behind his product.
At this point I will not recommend.

Are the two sides as asymmetrical as they appear to be in this photo? The two spines do not appear to be opposite each other.
It's a shame to put so much effort into a razor and then blow it on the "wedge."
It was advertised as shave ready.
Blade looks good to me. Nothing I could point a finger at and say "see there's the problem"
I should mention I did not strop blade before using.
Thats why i got i cheap. Pink isnt manly enough for them.
So ive contacted the seller and hes issued a refund. Ill be shipping it back tomorrow. I very much look forward to the one he will be shipping to me.
They a beautiful looking razors and it really just seemed to be a honing issue, but i didnt want to put it to the stones and be wrong.
To the one that won that tanifuji he had. Good buy. I really should have bid more.
Hey Colin - is that the one you showed me at the meet?
It looked fantastic and if I recall correctly, you said that it turned out, or the one you had turned out, to be a really nice blade after you put a great edge on it. They are certainly stunning looking blades, one of the few customs I've seen that peaks my interest?
I'm impressed ! after using the razor 3 month I cannot find anything bad. This razor is probably the most beautiful I own and the most important the shaving using this beauty is extremely smooth. The razor was delivered as shave ready but I did some pass on my Thuringian anyway.
You cannot find similar razor to this price, this is for sure.
The razor I bought is 8/8 with black horn scales.
