Isn't the nostalgia aspect what the W&B revival is all about?

Yes, I suppose it is. I’m looking forward to the roll out. I wasn’t bashing. I have probably 15 or more old W&B’s. I’ll most likely end up with a reissue as well. I do think they need to get their butts moving on the roll-out though, that is if their still planning on making these. I wouldn’t blame them if they didn’t, considering all the negativity they have received, especially since no ones actually had or seen one yet. I feel like the biggest mistake the new owners of W&B made, was responding to all the crappy comments on these forums. Hopefully the new owners aren’t easily “ butt hurt”, and are staying in the game.
If only they were getting their steel from the floundering UK Steel industry, this could be a feather in the cap for W&B. Things are rather dire in UK Steel, and Tata iron and steel corp is probably going to try and unload most of their operations in the UK. A sad end for a great industry, but the same thing can be said for the teetering American steel industry as well.
Has anyone heard anything more from this project?
I hope this works out, there are some amazing knife and razor makers in South Africa, I saw some superb razors by a SA maker living in Portugal when he came to a knife show. There is a very active knife scene in SA and their works needs to be more appreciated by the wider world.
